Apply the safe and sterile technique of placing access under ultrasound guidance. Use ultrasound for real-time visualization of the vein and needle tip during work. Prevent catheter-related infections by respecting hygiene protocols and sterile barriers. Recognize and treat acute and late complications (bleeding, pneumothorax, thrombosis, infection). Demonstrate competence in practical assessment stations.
